Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Amara Retreats LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Amara”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and the participant (“Participant”, “you”, or “your”) who applies for, registers for, or participates in any retreat, ceremony, event, session, or service offered by Amara Sanctuary (“Retreat” or “Services”).
By applying for or participating in any of our retreats or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not participate in the Retreat or use our Services.
1. Eligibility for participation
Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
Participation requires honest and complete disclosure of relevant information in the application and intake forms.
Amara Sanctuary reserves the right to decline participation if we believe participation may not be suitable or safe.
Participants agree to provide accurate information regarding physical and mental health conditions.
Providing false or incomplete information may result in cancellation of participation without refund if safety risks arise.
Participation is voluntary and based on the participant’s own responsibility.
2. Nature of the services
Amara Retreats offers retreats and experiences designed for personal development, self-exploration, education, and wellbeing.
Retreat programs may include meditation, breathwork, integration practices, group processes, bodywork, and ceremonial practices.
Experiences are subjective and individual results may vary.
Amara Retreats does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
Participants are free to choose their level of participation in retreat activities.
3. Personal responsibility
Participants acknowledge full responsibility for their physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing before, during, and after the retreat.
Participants agree to:
take responsibility for their personal decisions
seek professional medical advice if necessary
inform Amara retreats of any relevant health conditions
follow preparation guidelines provided prior to the retreat
respect the retreat environment and other participants
Participants understand that personal development experiences may involve emotional intensity or personal reflection.
Amara Retreats provides support but cannot guarantee specific personal outcomes.
4. Medical disclaimer
Amara Retreats does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment.
Nothing provided during the retreat should be considered medical or therapeutic advice.
Participation is not a substitute for professional healthcare or therapy.
Participants are responsible for consulting qualified healthcare professionals regarding any medical concerns.
5. Booking and payment
A reservation is confirmed once payment or deposit has been received.
Payment details and payment deadlines are communicated during the booking process.
Participants are responsible for ensuring payments are completed on time.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
Prices may vary depending on retreat location, duration, and accommodation type.
6. Cancellation policy and refunds
Due to the preparation and planning required for retreats, the following cancellation terms apply:
If a participant cancels more than 30 days before the retreat start date, payments may be transferred to a future retreat date, but are generally non-refundable.
If a participant cancels between 14 and 30 days before the retreat start date, payments may be partially transferable to a future retreat date at the discretion of Amara Sanctuary.
If a participant cancels less than 30 days before the retreat start date, payments are non-refundable.
Failure to attend the retreat without prior notice is considered a cancellation and is non-refundable.
In exceptional circumstances, Amara Sanctuary may offer partial credit toward a future retreat, but this is not guaranteed.
If Amara Sanctuary must cancel or reschedule a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, participants may choose between:
transfer to a future retreat
credit for future participation
refund of the retreat fee
Amara Retreats is not responsible for travel costs, flights, accommodation outside the retreat, or other personal expenses.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
7. Travel responsibility
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel unless otherwise stated.
Flights, visas, passports, insurance, and transportation to the retreat location are not included unless explicitly specified.
Participants are responsible for complying with travel requirements.
Amara retreats is not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, or additional costs.
8. Code of conduct
Participants agree to behave respectfully toward facilitators, staff, and other participants.
Participants agree to maintain respectful communication and behavior throughout the retreat.
Disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
Participants are expected to respect confidentiality and privacy of others.
Harassment, discrimination, or harmful conduct will not be tolerated.
Amara Retreats reserves the right to refuse participation if behavior is considered inappropriate or unsafe.
9. Confidentiality
Participants agree to respect the confidentiality of other participants.
Personal experiences shared during retreats should not be publicly disclosed without permission.
Amara Retreats encourages a safe and respectful environment.
10. Intellectual property
All retreat materials, content, teachings, and materials provided by Amara Sanctuary remain the intellectual property of Amara Retreats unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission.
Content is provided for personal use only.
11. Limitation of liability
Participation in retreats is voluntary.
Participants accept responsibility for their decisions and experiences.
Amara Retreats shall not be liable for:
personal decisions made before, during, or after the retreat
interpretations of retreat experiences
travel disruptions or personal expenses
circumstances beyond reasonable control
Participants acknowledge that personal development experiences involve uncertainty and individual responses vary.
12. Website use
Users agree to use the website lawfully.
Unauthorized use of website content is prohibited.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website.
13. Changes to these Terms
Amara Retreats reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The updated version will be published on this page.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming.
